MENDOTA – A new internet service provider is coming to Mendota that is capable of faster speeds than currently available, and the mayor has alerted residents to the appearance of numerous utility location flags on many properties. SURF Air Wireless LLC will soon begin trenching and installing fiber underground. The LaPorte, Indiana company will install underground fiber in potentially every home and business in the community. They will offer speeds of up to 500 Mbps for around $70 per month.
