Nex-Tech acquires broadband service provider Moundridge Communications Network


Broadband and technology company Next Tech is set to acquire a broadband and telephone service provider Moundridge Communications Network for an undisclosed sum. The deal is expected to close in July 2022.

Moundridge Communications Network, founded in 1904, is one of the oldest operating telephone companies in Kansas. The family business provides Internet and telephone services to customers in the Moundridge and Goessel communities of Kansas. The local Moundridge Communications Network office will remain in Moundridge to provide local support to customers, the buyer said.

Nex-Tech, based in Lenora, Kansas, has expanded from broadband and telecommunications services to offer cloud services, hosted PBX, network security, managed computing, physical security and surveillance, advertising solutions, and network operations monitoring to enterprises customers nationwide, the buyer indicates.
