Tata Play and Spectra actually offer a cheaper 500Mbps broadband plan than Jio

Broadband connectivity is now necessary for many things in an ever-changing world, be it work, learning, gaming, streaming or entertainment. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) offer a variety of broadband packages to their subscribers. Indeed, while Jio offers a very attractive 500 Mbps plan, Tata Play and Spectra offer their own plan which is actually cheaper than the plan offered by the first. However, Jio’s plan has amazing OTT benefits. We’ll take a look.

JioFiber 500Mbps Package

As for a 500 Mbps plan, JioFiber has a bundle that offers multiple benefits. JioFiber offers a 500 Mbps plan priced at Rs 2,499 per month. The plan offers a symmetrical download and upload speed of 500 Mbps and offers seamless connectivity across multiple devices. On top of that, Jio offers a ton of OTT subscriptions that include access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and thirteen more. The Amazon Prime video that comes with this plan has a validity period of one year. Note that the plan price excludes GST and will be charged as applicable. Tata Play Fiber 500Mbps Package

Tata Sky recently changed its moniker to Tata Play Fiber, but the plans have remained the same. Tata Play Fiber 500Mbps unlimited plan has a monthly cost of Rs 2,300. Users can also get this long-term plan as the company offers the 500Mbps plan for different validity periods. For a period of three months, users can get the plan for Rs 6,900, for a validity period of six months, the plan costs Rs 12,900 on which users actually save Rs 900 and finally for a period of one year the plan costs Rs 24,600 saving Rs 3000 for users.

Tata Play Fiber uses a 100% fiber network to provide end-to-end connectivity with optical fiber going directly from the service provider to users’ homes. The result is a seamless and consistent Internet experience with high-speed connectivity. Users receive 3300 GB or 3.3 TB of Fair Use Policy (FUP) data with this broadband plan, after which the speed is reduced to 3 Mbps.

Two affordable plans from Spectra

Spectra’s two 500Mbps plans were listed as desktop plans and come with different price tags as well as separate data caps. Spectra’s premier broadband plan offers 500 Mbps of internet speed at a price of Rs 1,599 per month. The total data offered with this plan is 500GB. The plan also comes in quarterly, semi-annual, and annual billing cycles. The price for three months for this plan is Rs 4,797, for six months the plan costs Rs 9,594 and for one year the price is Rs 19,188.

Spectra’s other 500 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 1,999 per month. The plan offers a total of 750 GB of data per month. As above, this plan also includes quarterly, semi-annual and annual billing cycles. For a period of three months, users have to pay Rs 5,997, for six months the cost is Rs 11,994 and the price for 12 months is Rs 23,988.
