Virgin Media targets Sky with unmissable TV and broadband deal

There are only a few days until the official Black Friday sales start, and Virgin Media is not waiting to launch more good deals. The company had previously slashed broadband prices to new lows with its M100 service down to just £ 25 a month and its fast M500 connection – which can project a movie to your TV in just over a minute – currently only £ 43. Now, it looks like Virgin wants to take aim at Sky with the company announcing a bunch of new offers that include TV with that internet connection.

Before the official Friday event, there is an offer on Virgin’s big package which offers more than 100 channels as well as a broadband of 108 Mbps and free calls on weekends. This typically costs £ 32 per month, but Virgin has reduced that price to just £ 29 per month.

If you want even more bang for your buck, there’s also the Big Volt Package which is now only £ 41 per month. This package includes all of those TV channels and free weekend calls, but also adds better 208Mbps broadband speeds and an O2 SIM card with 10GB of monthly data.

Finally, there is a price drop for anyone who wants the Ultimate Volt Pack. This premium service typically costs £ 99 per month, but Black Friday cuts it down to £ 89.

For your money you get over 230 channels, incl. BT Sport, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema in HD, super-fast fiber with avg. 630 Mbps, calls anytime and unlimited O2 SIM card.

All of these latest Black Friday deals are available from today through November 29.

For our money, the best deal available is Virgin Media’s M200 package, which has gone from £ 50 per month to £ 31 per month. This discounted price will be valid for the duration of your 18 month contract, saving you over £ 340 compared to pre-Black Friday prices. M200 offers average download speeds of around 213 Mbps, which is around 3 times faster than the average UK home broadband speed of 70 Mbps.

Of course, if you still have a deal at heart with Sky, the company has a few offers, including broadband starting at £ 25 per month, as well as broadband and TV for just £ 32 per month.
